Can Mitral Valve Prolapse cause my SVT episodes to become painful?

I was diagnosed with SVT over 6 years ago. Each time I have an episode of SVT it causes discomfort/pain in my chest. I recently found out that I also have Mitral Valve Prolapse and a PFO. A nurse believes that the MVP could be pulling on my heart in such a way that I would experience discomfort. Could either the MVP or PFO be the reason for my discomfort? Looking for a second opinion
