Cardiac EP Questions Welcome Here

Hey all. Not really a question but I understand with COVID going on it’s difficult to see a provider right now.

I will check the forums daily at 5PM EST. I will do so until April 25, 2020.

To make it easier for me in this COVID-19 Crisis I encourage you to post any questions you may want answered by me specifically here. I will check this specific thread first.

Important Information I will need is your Age, Gender, Medications, Prior Medical/Surgical History and description of the issue.

Due to some messages in my inbox I need to clarify. If you suspect an issue is an emergency you need to go to the emergency room. If you are FAINTING you may be experiencing an emergency and should go to the emergency room. If you have chest pain, pain in the left arm, neck, back or abdomen you should NOT seek advice online; you should go to the emergency room.

I DO work in Cardiology. I AM busy. I am NOT allowed to give specific medical advice to anyone without examining you first, you have NOT verified my credentials and should take everything I say with a grain of salt.

Please bear in mind that I may not be able to answer your questions in a timely enough manner. I am on the frontlines of the Epidemic in one of the most hardly hit health systems in the world. So you may not get answers in time if you are experiencing an emergency and anything you read on Medhelp is no substitute for proper medical advice.

Thanks!
