I get those too and they suck. You probably want to get checked out by a cardiologist. As far as I know palpitations that are caused by the vagus nerve are generally not dangerous in people who have a structurally normal heart, but you probably want to make sure there's nothing else going on that could be causing your palpitations and that your heart is structurally normal. Also, vagus nerve issues can cause A-Fib and that's a condition that needs to be medicated, so you probably want to rule that out.
