Doc said bisoprolol will help regulate heartbeat, is this true?

It does seem to help a bit, the doctor says it is a betablocker but if i take it regularly it should stabilise the irregular beats.

is this true enough?

I suppose i should not be doubting my doc.

Thanks

Yvonne xx

Thanks for your help.

Yes i can get very tired and bp slightly low but i think its a combination of things as i only take a tiny dose of bisoprolol.

bisoprolol or brand name Zebata is a great bb, but watch for low bp if you're prone to this kind of thing - I was on Zebata for 6 months after surgery and it helped, but really made me tired and dropped my bp/hr too much, so just keep an eye out

Hi i read your post and yes...........bisoprolol is a beta blocker that relaxes the heart and pretty much blocks the adrenaline that runs thru it which cases a fast or irregular heart beat.  It is also great for your blood pressure.  I wouldn't be doubting the doc if i were you....i would listen to them if you trust them to know what they are doing...i would give it a shot Yvonne......with everything that you have gone thru this may be the answer for you...
