In a strange way it makes sense about the control and at least you are being honest. The truth is always the best way to go. I am sure one day you will get bored with it all or hopefully distracted by other things. Take care of yourself.
OK - I was trying to help by being grumpy, which I'm really not. They do say that the 'other hobby' has side affects too. but I haven't experienced them......I do have hair growing on the palm of my hands though.........ha ha
Seriously you should try to stop this - commonsense says that everytime your heart 'thumps' it must stress the muscle to some extent, and over a long period it could do harm.
Hahaha, sorry kev.
You're right Michelle, I should be on that show. I have no idea why I like doing it but I really enjoy it. I guess part of it is having control over it, cause when my heart skips on its own it's definitely uncomfortable and distracting. Doesn't do that often, though.
Grow up - get a hobby or see a shrink! Stupid! Shock tactics to get you to stop this silly teenage fad - you could do permenant damage and suffer later in life. Read the posts by the SICK PEOPLE whose lives are ruined by these events. Take up masturbation - it's more fun and not harmful.
angry Kev
Wow, I hate when mine beats off, skips, flutters
Not sure why you would do that to your heart
Hmmm, if you're not putting us on, what kind of pleasure or relief do you get from this?
In an otherwise healthy heart what you experience upon your prodding is not deemed dangerous so I don't think what you are doing is technically a threat to you. If you haven't had your heart evaluated it might be wise to do so but I assume you don't do this on a constant basis so the effects are likely minimal but you may want to consult a doctor for confirmation as I am not medically trained. Take care. You should go on that TV show My Strange Obsession. Just kidding.
