Has anyone had any success with cardiac ablation?

I've had RVOT ectopics continuously for three years - about 14% bad beats each day. I find it exhausting, frightening and debilitating, a serious problem for a working mother looking after two generations in a family. Betablockers and verapamil haven't helped and I've done all the obvious things you've all tried: no caffeine, no alcohol, breathing exercises..etc etc. I am now on a waiting list for ablation but I"m alarmed by the risks. 1 in 200 chance of a stroke, perforation of the heart wall etc. I'm in London and have been quoted an 80% cure if I happen to have a particularly high number of ectopics on the day. I don't know how to balance the risks against the chance of success. Has anyone had this procedure for the same condition? Did it work? Were there any mishaps? has anyone heard of a patient having a stoke? I would so much appreciate any answers/ help!

I had my ablation in 2010 for near lifetime AVRT.  I have never had an episode since.  It gave my life back to me.

Thanks for answering. What was your result - did the ablation work? And how did you find the experience of it?
