Has anyone with vagal-mediated persistent afib found relief and how?

I suffer from persistent afib which arose overnight from taking the purgative polyol prep for a colonoscopy a year ago. There was no paroxymal stage whatsoever and cardioablation failed to resolve it. It is vagal-type so beta-blockers caused me to go into CHF. The post-operative fleicanide given me for rhythm control caused such severe side effects I had to stop after 1 month. I've tried everything from magnesium to potassium, from CoQ10 to taurine with no relief and wonder if someone with a similar etiology may have an answer or at least a viable protocol. My afib is lone with no other heart issues (yet). I am 67 years old and otherwise in good health.
