I was just wondering has anyone had problems flying and heart being worst once in the air? And you know the whole pressure changing?

Looks like you got what you wanted, but I'll add in my input as one who has permanent AFib, albeit I was not diagnosed with AFib until I was in my late-50s.

I was a business traveler and have earned a life time Platinum status with Continental (United) Airlines, and many miles on other airlines around the world.

Well enough bragging about what I have subjected my body too, I am not aware of any heart problems from flying.  I now fly only a couple of times a year and I am now in permanent AFib.  Hum, wonder if there is a correlation - ouch! I think not.

I've never had a problem.  I fly a lot, love to fly.

There are people with ICD's and pacemakers that take plane trips. I have various arrhythmia problems and I just got back yesterday from a flight. I personally haven't noticed a problem. While I was in Nevada at a higher altitude I noticed some increased premature beats and more tachy bursts but that could also have been from the stress and lack of sleep (death in the family). But the slight change in pressure in the plane caused no trouble at all.
