Heart rate keeps going up then down? (Help)

Since yesterday I have been suffering with an overwhelming sensation in my chest due to my heart rate being up and down. So basically I had 2 cups of coffee in a row, unintentionally, the second one was given to me without my request so I didn't want to be rude and not drink it. So anyway, after a while I began to feel very weak, my eyes felt droopy, my heart rate started to rise and I felt a very tight feeling in my throat, I coped with it and let it wear off, but in the evening I started to feel sick like I'd just got off a ride (not so much dizziness though) and again my heart beat began to elevate. I couldn't sleep because the feeling was to over whelming, I wanted to be sick but it wouldn't come up, I kept checking my pulse regularly but It reached 100 at its highest but that's average right? (60-100?) and its not irregular either. Iv barely slept and the thumping in my chest keeps returning, it comes in waves. I'm not worrying myself at all in very calm but I just want to feel normal again. Surely the coffe would be out my system now? It's been over 24 hours.  Im 17+ by the way if age makes a difference.

Seems like an over reaction to caffeine. Did you drink all of this on an empty stomach?  Do you drink coffee often?  Possibly dehydration.  If you drink lots of water do you feel better?  I might go and see a doctor just to make sure all is well.  Feeling nauseous with heart symptoms is something that should be checked out.  It is likely nothing but best to let a doctor look at you.

I guess I usually start on an empty stomach but often eat straight after or during having one & yes I have been drinking it quite often lately, it's only recent though iv started to drink it frequently. I haven't really drank water after having coffee but I do drink mainly water anyway through out the day if I'm genuinely thirsty. I guess it does make me feel more refreshed. It's annoying because as much as I enjoy to drink a cup of coffee I can't actually enjoy myself later on in the day because of the effects its having on me. I'm keeping an eye on myself and I guess I can only stop drinking it if it's going to do this :(

If you really like coffee switch to caffeine free.
