Heartrate increases with 50 bpm when standing from laying

Hallo,

My testing heart rate when very relaxed and laying in bed at night or in the morning is between 70-80 bpm. Other than that it's always somewhere between 90-120 bpm. For example, right now I'm just sitting and watching tv and my heart rate is 100 bpm.

When I stand up my heart rate immediately goes to 130 bpm.

When relaxed and laying the difference can between laying and standing can be up to 60 bpm.

When standing from sitting it can be 40 bpm.

This doesn't seem normal to me. I did the same test with my parents and siblings. They have a normal reaction when standing, meaning their heart rate raises just a bit and goes down after 15 seconds.

I had an ekg/ecg which came back normal other than the high heart rate. I also had an echocardiogram which also came back normal.

My blood is tested for different things like anemia and thyroid issues and those also came back normal. Except for my vitamine D, which is very low. I'm taking pills to fix that.

Other issues I have are:

Fatigue
Dizzy/weird sensation in my head.
Headache/migraine few times a month.
Back pain, especially between shoulderblades.
Pain in arms, I have tingling and pain in my left arm since I woke up today.
Pain in chest sometimes.

So what should I do? Maybe I have pots?

You need to test your heart rate and blood pressure to verify pots.

Pots is an increase over 30 bpm with no change in blood pressure.

You also need to wear a 24 hour monitor to rule out other arrhythmias that may be involved.

I do think its possible of you get a 60 bpm jump whenever you stand up though.
