Hearts eptopic load %

Hello!

I had an ECG done, I was told that my eptopic load was 38% I’ve tried to search to see if that’s low/high/average. I’ve not come across a post that works in percentages.
I’ve been diagnosed with a left bundle branch block, awaiting an appointment with a doctor who may consider me for ablation. Since 2mg and 5mg bisoprolol fumarate has not reduced my eptopic load.
Seeing if anyone could explain where I fit in,
Thank you!

You absolutely should consider a cather ablation. I just had a successful procedure done jan 2, no more pvcs.
I was having 24% of my heartbeats being ectopic pvcs originating in my left ventricle and they extra workload on my heart caused my ejection fraction to ddcrease to 46%. Dr says now that he ablated, my heart should heal and return to normal. Plese keep posting anx let us know what the dr says. I wish you all the best, the procedure is not bad.

Great news! Glad it was a success for you, it’s good to hear positive stories!
I don’t know what my ejection fraction is, one to ask when I see the doctor. Thank you, I’ll keep posted

If your ectopic burden is 20% and above .of your total heart beats than ablation is a must since that amount of pvcs could cause tachycardia induced cardiompathy in the future. Since your ectopic burden is 38% you are eligible for an ablation consult with your cardiologist for and ep study and ablation. Don’t worry at all it’s a quick fix.

Yeah agreed, 38% is very high, you need an ablation.
Thank you for the replies,
It’s reassuring knowing what the percentage means!
Couldn’t wait however many weeks till I receive my appointment with the ablation consultant.
