Why does my pulse speed up and then slow down in a regular cycle/
I take ramipril for my blood pressure. Have a family history of dilated cardiac myopathy and angina and heart attack
What do you mean by speed up and slow down? Do you mean heart rate variability? If so, this is normal and actually a good thing.

Thats exactly what I mean, but, when it speeds up it seems to go rather fast.
