HI, can anyone tell me what they do if you have an irregular heartbeat, thanks.

I'd start by taking an aspirin a day and making an appointment with a doctor to get a diagnosis. If you start taking an aspirin take care not to upset your stomach, some people can't take aspirin....I assume you know if you can. And talk about any plan for long term aspirin with your doctor.
If the irregular HB isn't accompanied with other symptoms a routine appointment would seem reasonable.
