It didn't go well and was 7 hours long.
They ablated 3 spots and then waited an hour to see if another arrhythmia would show, and the worst one did and it happened to be right under where my phrenic nerve lays.
So they went femoral, sternal and jugular and eventually got it.
I had to stay 3 days in the hospital.
Yesterday I started having normal urination and bowel movements and was walking on my own.
I live 6 hours away and after I took a nap when we got home, I had to go to the bathroom.
Now I've been having diarrhea for 5 hours pretty constantly.
I'm drinking as much as I can to keep up with the dehydration.
I've also gained 10 pounds since the surgery.
I was told I would be constipated after the surgery, so is this also a normal side effect?
I also have multiple holes on my groin/thigh, with a rash.
I think I've coughed up the rest of the fluid in my lungs, so my only problem now is the weight gain, diarrhea and the rash.
Any thoughts?
