Irregular and chronic heart beat and left side chest pain

I have had minor heart palpitations over the years which I assumed were normal because I have been living with an undiagnosed condition that causes my nerves to jump all over my body 24 hours a day.  Very annoying.  Anyway, over the past few months, the palpitations have become a weekly event, then daily, now they are acting up at least 10 times a day.  I am also experiencing chest pains and a heavy feeling in my left shoulder when walking.  I am extremely fatigued too.

Now I'll throw a monkey wrench in the mix:  I have been working in Kuwait in an extremely hot climate and it's very dusty here.  Am I having heart issues or am I adjusting to the climate?

Another wrench:  I have no thyroid gland.  Could I need to increase my daily intake of synthroid?

I don't know what to do.

Thanks.

Any time someone says they are having chest pain and left side shoulder pain, you MUST see a cardioloigst. Please go to a doctor asap. Sometimes things can mimic things and sometimes they are the real thing. Women having heart attacks can experience shoulder pain or back or stomach pain. I say get the serious ruled out asap, then you can move down the line. I wish you well.
