Thank you very much for the help. I will try to manage my stress. If my situation won't improve, I'll talk to a doctor
Speaking to a therapist is a good bet. They can teach you tools you can use to learn to walk through stress and anxiety. It is normal for us humans to get fearful and anxious. Being mindful of the things in life that add to it and trying to eliminate the things we can control like being more on top of things and not procrastinating so things are a rush is a good start. But if you can not avoid feeling triggered into being anxious try to stop yourself and pause. Take deep breaths and feel the fear go. Refrain from adding any dialogue to the situation that puts the situation or yourself especially down. Just remind yourself that the emotion will pass. Part of the problem with anxiety is it really is suppressed fear so the idea is to allow the emotion to move through you and not respond to it and it will eventually pass. This said, it takes time to break a long standing habit so do not beat yourself up if you notice yourself stressing and unable to stop it. Just at the point of noticing that is when you try to pause and release. Other things are distract yourself, watch a funny movie, or connect with people you know who make you feel better. Doing meditation may help as well even if it is just taking a few moments each morning to center and ground yourself. Set up your game plan for the day and take things one step at a time. The more you do these things the less stress and anxiety you will see in your life. Best of luck and just take it a day at a time.
You are lucky to have some world class VT experts close to you. Hans Kotthamp in Zurich (not sure if he is still there) and Carlo Pappone in Milan. I think U of Lucern hospital has the EP expertise too so you have a number of excellent choices close by.
Thank you very much for your help. My gastritis is now under control and as I have summer vacation my stress levels should be lower now. I take valerian pills when I feel under stress and now also try to get the job done quicker (less procrastination) to worry less about it. Maybe it might be the physical stress comming from changing time zones that worsened my situation.
However, the main reason is that I want to get rid of this problem, as I like to exercise and study extra, outside the requirements of the degree. With weakness, dizziness and lack of concentration I can't even do half of what I used to.
In addition to stress management, are there other good ways?
LV stands for Left Ventricle. That is a very high load of pvcs. Are you under a lot of stress with school. Anxiety can be pretty pervasive even when we don't think we are anxious. As well gastritis can be having a big effect on your pvc load. I would suggest working on those two factors as best you can and checking back with your doctor about the pvcs. You say you have tried a few different meds. Do you feel a significant drop in the pvc count being on the Betaloc Zok? If you have ongoing gastritis you may want to try a daily med to keep it from coming back and see if that helps. As a last resort you can try and consider an ablation if your load continues to stay as high as it was in your first monitoring. Best of luck getting this sorted out. Feel better soon. Keep us posted on how you are doing.
I'm living in Svitzerland, Lugano and studying in Luzern. What does LV stand for?
31000 pvc/day is beyond the suggested cutoff of 20000/day where you are risking a continuous decline in heart function. You will need to monitor your LV ejection fraction. It is important for you to go to an EP that is expert at treating VT. Where are you going to college?
