I have proven to myself beyond doubt that chemical inbalances in my system / brain cause me to have anxiety, tremors, feelings of absolute terror, sudden dizzy spells, sweating, insomnia, wild vivid dreams, racing thoughts and superventricular tachycardia (SVT) attacks lasting for hours sometimes,(EMERGENCY CENTRE VISITS NEEDED) intestinal inflammation which is so bad it triggers heart palpitations and sudden blood pressure surges to 200/120 (normal is about 135/85).
This sounds like a mouthful, but my heart rhythm problems were triggered by taking a sinus relief medication called Sudafed 15 years ago, and I have problems ever since.
I know that food triggers these things, but it's not the food itself but the way it is produced with chemical growth promotants and defoliants which kill the tops of potato plants for instance to make harvesting easier but logically is absorbed into the tubers we eat. some Chickens are fed pellets which contain antibiotics and growth hormones to make them grow fast. Farmed fish too. Have you ever smelt a 'fowly' smell from raw chicken? Ever smelt or tasted a chemical on bread or cake crusts where they go nice and brown and crispy? My wife and I have sleepless nights and it definately depends on what we eat. Since buying whatever we can that is organically certified we definately feel better. My dentist has a similar problem, and none of us are vegetarians, health foodies or anything. These chemical additives are illegal here in Australia but we know that they are used because I have a friend who was a potato farmer till recently and he told me. Also have a friend who worked as a stockfeed sales representative and he told us that all kinds of chemicals are added.
Our daughter aged 40 went to a pschychologist for therapy several years ago and ended up so upset, distressed, angry and depressed that it nearly ruined her whole life. Her personality changed completely, and she ended up on tranquilisers for the first time ever. After she stopped going she slowly recovered by it has taken years and she isn't the same. Think about things yourself, try the food selections and maybe give the therapy a rest. Try talking to your GP and maybe a very low dose of anti anxiety medication like I do and 'tinymatches' said. It really helps. Doctors will NOT BELIEVE any of this by the way - they just smirk and go hmmm.
sorry to be so long winded but its age. Gives you something to read anyway. Best wishes.
This just my theory. I think what your feeling can be caused by chemicals. I have spent years with similiar issues. I have even experienced some extreme heart issues that the medical community say are not caused by stress or anxiety. I believe that when I changed my diet 4 years ago it caused a chemical change in my body which is causing anxiety, worry, and heart issues. No Dr. will stand by this theory but no one knows your body better than you. In science the most logical answer is usually excepted. The most logical to Dr's is that it is ironic at best. The most logical to me is change my diet a few weeks later have health issues and uncontrolled anxiety. Once again that is my theory and not many people want to back that up. Especially since they run BASIC test to prove to me that my chemical are normal:-)
I hate to play doctor, but will just tell you that I have experienced what you have to some extent in regard to the hypochondria and found that a very low dosage of anti-anxiety medication helps a lot. I only take a pill when I'm feeling really panicky and know my thoughts aren't logical or healthy. Since I've started taking them, I feel better knowing that I have them to take when I need them. As a result, I hardly ever take them. I'm not one to push drugs, but if you are suffering as bad as it sounds, you've got to find some peace and quality of life. At least talk to your primary doctor about it. The constant worrying will not help. Do you still doubt the four cardiologists? Did they do sufficient tests to rule out anything more serious? If you are still in doubt, see a fifth cardio of that's possible. Just my two cents.
hi
if you had a chemical imbalance im sure that could be easily checked by your doctor.i know some people that just by eating a couple of bananas it seems to help with their pvcs ---but that is them and we are all different,i know if i drink a little more water than average my pvcs lessen or are not as forceful-----their are probably quite a few imbalances in the body that can have an effect on heart function and anxiety thyroid for example.a lot of pvcs are brought on by stress and worry i know
i dont know what the therapist said to you ,that is for you alone ,but maybe they opened up a door in your mind and subconsciously you started to reflect on it.to be honest i think myself anxiety and pvcs go well together i know when i get mine it scares me and then leads on to anxiety.but it is how we focus that energy is the key to moving on.
try reading new books or taking up a new hobby just something to keep the mind occupied when you are feeling anxious about your health -----
be good
