Thank you  Michelle for yor post it does make me feel better to read what you wrote !! I did have the EKG in the office and it showed where my heart would skip a beat then beat fast after that I  wearing the heart monitor now for 48 hours so we will see I am under aot of stress right now which is causing me a lot of anxiety. I feel however I am handling my anxiety very well and didn't think it would affect my heart . I have always been healthy and considering the heart is a major organ that keeps you alive it makes me very nervous when I feel it messing up !!   Thank you for your encouraging words :o)

No one can say for certain what you have until it is caught on a monitor.  Did the DR do an ekg on you and if so were you having any of the skipping beats while on it?  If not then you will likely need to wear a monitor to diagnose what you exactly have and how often you get it.  That said it sounds like you may be experiencing ectopics (pacs or pvcs).  In general if you have ectopics and your heart is healthy then there is nothing to be concerned over.  Supposedly everyone gets them though I don't know that they get them everyday but most don't ever feel them.  In general, unless you have heart disease, are experiencing more the 20,000 of them a day, they come in runs lasting longer than 30 seconds, or you are experiencing shortness of breath, dizziness, or are passing out it is likely the most that they will do would be to give you bp meds to try and regulate your beat.  Then it is up to us to try and find and eliminate our triggers.  Stomach issues is a big one, carbohydrates and gas forming foods and stress is the other big one so any stress or anxiety you have in your life if addressed should help the situation.  Other than that it is a matter of trying to not let them run your life.  Easier said than done sometimes but in general they are not a threat to the health of your heart so it is likely the doctor is running the tests just to be sure your heart is healthy especially considering a murmur was indicated.  Though from what I understand most murmurs are pretty harmless as well but considering your other symtpoms it is best to get it evaluated.  I suspect you will get a general clean bill of health and should have nothing to worry about but again it is good to get this checked out just to be sure.  The bottom line, the basis for treatment of heart issues mostly comes down to severity of symptoms and if they are disrupting your life.  If you are able to function quite well despite the odd feelings there is likely nothing you need to do except try and keep yourself and your heart as healthy as possible.  So hang in there.  Your heart is very resilient muscle and can keep on ticking through many issues and I would not doubt everything comes back fine for you.  Take care and keep us posted on how you are doing.
