I have PVCs all the time, but I also tend to have them (and feel them more) in the evening. I've found that it helps me some if I sit upright in a chair (like at the kitchen table, reading or working on something). If I sit scrunched together in my recliner, leaning back, the PVCs become worse and I can feel the tickly cough sensation plus the odd beats in my throat and stomach. If I sit up straight, or if I walk around, they lessen. I've had less trouble with the sensation lately in the evenings because of two things. First, I eat less for supper so there is less chance of reflux, gas, and bloating (I have GERD and IBS); second, if I walk around and get my pulse up to the mid eighties or more, the PVCs usually go away for awhile.
I keep hearing that the vagus nerve might be involved in some PVCs, but don't know enough about it, or whether that's true. All I know is that if I eat a large meal, then sit down and lean back, I can count on having more discomfort from PVCs.
I, too, seem to get more PVCs and PACs late in the day - don't know why, but I've experienced them a lot like that for quite some time.
This could be sympathetic tone (nervous system). It could be influenced by outside factors like what you eat at dinner, how much you eat. etc.
I was getting them like clock work starting at 2:30 am every night for a long time. never could figure it out, and I searched high and low.
