Why does my bpm suddenly drop to 25 for no reason

My bpm is usually between 75 and 80 but last night while watching TV I felt a bit light headed so checked my pulse with a Pulse Oximeter and it was 25. Over the next 20 minutes it bounced around between 23 and 26 then up to 53 and finally normal at 76.

I took my pulse and found my heart was skipping every fifth beat and it was very slow.

The only way to get an answer here would be to see a cardiologist for a holter.

This is something I would *strongly* recommend in light of the symptoms you described. Theres some relatively serious diseases to rule out here.
I think you’re right. Made an appointment for tomorrow to see my doctor and I presume he’ll refer me.

Did you feel any skipped beats? When you are having a bunch of PVCs pulse ox will read low like that.
