Hey everyone, I joined this forum in hopes to get help regarding an issue I've recently been having. I'm 20 years old, standing at around 6'1 weighing 217 or so. After Any type of excercise, whether it be high intensity basketball, running routes in football, or lifting, my heart rate skyrockets to 150 or 160. It jumps to 120 just warming up. And even after im done with all the excercise, my heart can stay at around 120 bpm up to 2 to 4 hours after in done.. to add to that my heart sometimes drops to 46 to 60... now I'm not that in shape nor am I THAT out of shape.
I've been dealing with it for 4 or 5 months, went to the cardiologist the other day and she said everything is fine and I'm just overweight and out of shape. Thing is, I've been at this weight damn near 2 years now.. used to lift hard and excercise everyday back in high school and I don't believe I'm that out of shape! I'm pretty scared to continue excercising because of the fear of sudden death or heart attack. Any answers would be really helpful, and I appreciate everyone taking time out to help
