I never updated. Holter came back normal, except for "some extra beats from the upper and lower parts of the heart, nothing to worry about", which is a pretty standard Holter for me. I felt some wild stuff on it, and I wanted to make SURE this Holter caught all my symptoms. I had a couple of drinks at dinner, exercised the next day and mostly skipped cooldown, ate a ton of chocolate (caffeine), only slept three hours the night before it and basically did everything wrong, lol, and it still looked good - so I guess that's some reassurance ;) Sometimes they just feel so...odd.
I think I know what you are trying to describe. When I used to have lots of pvcs, sometimes it was as if my heartbeat were chasing itself. Most of the time, it would only take a few beats and thinks would sync. It sounds like your recent runs are kinda like that. Good luck with the monitor.
I've been getting these short little ones too, just three beats. And last night I hit an odd pattern, which I get sometimes, where every four to five beats I would have a couplet. It feels like my heart is trying for a run of SVT, but can't quite make it. I'm having quite an array of atrial irritability. I can't explain it, it just goes this way at times.
Oh no!! Not the holter....You're right, if you want to stop the arrythmia, get a holter. Hopefully, you'll be able to capture what's occuring on this monitor. Good luck!
Be easy on the exercise while your sick/recovering from a bug :).. Im glad your episodes where brief and easily broken, the little buggers! Stress, and being ill where big triggers for my PSVT.. Pretty much everything was a trigger for my psvt LOL (3-4 long sustained episodes a day) I hope your holter comes back all clear .. keep us updated!
Thanks :)
Looks like I'm getting the Holter again.
I don't know too much about PSVT, so I can't offer much on that front. But, I wanted you to know that I'm sorry you're stressed and feeling lousy. We must get you back "up and running" (without the psvt..lol). As a mom, I know you've got a lot on your plate this time of year, but be sure to take a little (or a lot..haha) for yourself. The kids (and we) need you.
Get some rest and take some time out for you.
