Your low EKG could be a result of the heart's inability to generate electricity. It could also be due to the presence of fluid or air in the chest between the electrodes and the heart.  It can also be due to an underlying myocardial disease, pericardial effusion, lung disease, severe hypothyroidism, or obesity.

It could be that the electrodes were not adhered properly and air was between them or it could indicate that there is heart or lung disease.  Who did the test?  Did they repeat it and get the same results?  Do you have other symptoms?  What prompted the test in the first place?  If this wasn't from an error in electrode placement I would suspect further testing of the heart and lungs would be in order if the results persist.  But if you are not feeling any concerning symptoms it may have just been an abnormality with the test itself.  Take care.
