lump under incision?

I had a ablation on Monday the 13th, and had a little bleeding on my right incision site when i was able to get up and walk after the procedure. Well it hasn't bled since then and the incisions are looking pretty good, but I did notice a small lump (like half a pea in size) under my right incision. Is this something to worry about? It doesent hurt any more or less when I apply light pressure to the lump, it seems to be just there. idk if Iv been over doing it or what but I dont think I have been. When I got released from the hospital, I went home and rested for a bit, then I went to Game Stop and back home and rested for the rest of the night. Today I slept in, took a shower, took a nap and took my xbox for repair, and went to walgreens and have been back home ever since. Iv felt pretty decent actually, I did get winded at walgreens, well not like winded, but almost like exhausted from standing for what seemed forever to talk to the pharmacist about advil and asprin. I'm a little paranoid that the lump is something serious, just because the past two days have been amazing, and I'm just so worried something is going to f it up again.

I really think it's normal.  My husband had lots of bruising and lumps on both sides.  The bruising actually got bigger for a couple of days after the procedure.  I got worried too and called the doctor but they said it was ok.

I actually had to call a nurse hot line like 3 time last night becuase first it was a half a pea shape, then house later it was elongated and then it was back to a pea shape with some yellowing around the skin. So I call all three times and called my dr. office twice today, I feel like such a noob lol but like i said i get paranoid that something is going to go wrong.

I did reach out to my dr, and she said it was normal so I have relaxed alot but I'm still so paranoid lol. Thanks for the tips. I'v actually started to feel normal in the last three days. It weird, I honestly think the biggest change is not being on digoxin anymore. I mean I know the ablation has helped and has changed a alot because I have been eating chocolate like crazy, started slow of course but its been awesome and with not being on dig anymore, my heat intolerance is gone, I dont feel like more **** than i should with being on the dig.

Hey Razzel, under my incision site, I had a bit of a lump...it wasn't very large, but definitely felt an area that was hardened.  I'm fairly sure it's normal. For me, it took about maybe 2-3 weeks before it dissipated.

Also, before my ablation, when I was doing all my reading on other's ablation experiences, I ran into a number of people that mentioned a similar lump under the incision area.  Some described it as a pea-sized lump, other said it was larger, like walnut-sized...but in all cases that I've read, it was normal and just took time to drain.

Hi, I think it's normal I noticed a knot or lump at my incision site as well it and any bruising will eventually go away. I just relaxed a lot and geeked out playing Skyrim , ME3 and a few others lol. It took me a good 6 months before I felt "normal" again so just try to relax take care of yourself and take it slow like michellepetkus said.

I don't think that is anything to be concerned over though you may just want to contact the doctor to see what they have to say but I think it is kind of a common thing to occur and will go away after a while.  As well you will likely notice your heart rate gets elevated quite easily for a while maybe even up to 3 months.  To be honest it took over a year for my heart to fully calm down but I was also having a lot of symptoms the year before so my heart was pretty stressed out even before I did the ablation so just take it slow if you feel like you are tiring out.  It will get better with time, especially with the more time you stay out of tachycardia.  Hang in there.
