PVC = Premature Ventricular Complex (or Contraction) this is a premature heart beat initiated in the heart chambers (below the sinus node). Also known as VPB, VE or VES.
PAC = Premature Atrial Complex (or Contraction) this is a premature heart beat initiated in the upper chambers but not the sinus node. Also known as SVPB, SVE or SVES.
