Hemorrhoid

Hello, im a 32 year old healthy male, exercise regularly and eat healthy. I had a day of diarrhea after some drinking, and got a hemorrhoid later that day/the next day. It progressively got worse and more sore. Creams did nothing for it, and i also tried pushing it back up many times, but neither of these things worked. The soreness lasted for about a week, then it went away, however the hemorrhoid is still there, and is very mildly agitated after bowel movements. What can i do to get rid of this thing?

Hello and welcome to the forum.  We're sorry you had this difficulty.  Have you consulted with your doctor about this?  This is always a good idea.  Ways to combat hemorrhoids include adding fiber to your diet. using otc things like preparation H or Tucks wipes, sitting in a warm sitz bath or bathtub and lastly, taking ibuprofen, Tylenol or motrin, whichever you normally do for pain relief.  Again, talk to your doctor.   A tucks wipe is a premoistened cloth in witch hazel.   It works very well.  Please let us know how you are doing.  https://www.medhelp.org/posts/Hemorrhoids/Having-hemeroids-too-often/show/3054057
