How often should I apply ointment

I have hemorrhoids but it sounds like I'm lucky...mine hurt but not all that much and the stuff at the drugstore helps. I'ts just a nuisance applying 3-4 times a day. I know the box says up to four times, but I was just wondering how often other people apply the ointment (or use the wipes, I bought both).

Lido-Nifedipine was very helpful to cure hemorrhoids in my case. it is safe enough to use for pregnant ladies and kidz.  I quiet fine now and m lucky my hemorrhoids didnot came back.
