Is this external hemorrhoids or anal cancer?

I am 32 years old and i have a history of bleeding in the stool. For the past one year, i have noticed a lump near the anus, may be 1 inch away from anus centre. The shape of the lump changes..sometimes its somewhat pointed, sometimes round and flat. It disappears for some days and then it will reappear again and i feel pain sometimes when i touch it. This lump keeps coming back and i am really worried about it. I pray that its not cancer.  Please advice.

Cancer tumors dont go away so coming and going would be more from a hemorrhoid.

thanks for the reply. so the appearance and disappearance and then reappearance of this external lump is a hemorrhoid and is not something so serious to worry about, yeah?

Hi Toshiii, It's probably thrombosed hemorrhoid. Besides its appearance, this type of hemorrhoid is not serious but can be very painful. If the pain becomes unbearable, you can he can discuss to you the best course of action to take base on your condition.

thanks for the reply. Only one lump shows up and its near or around the lip of my anus. It can be painful/ irritation when i touch it. It will disappear after some days and then it will come back again. I am planning to go to a doctor but before that i just wanted to confirm that it would not be a serious case like cancer or something.

Hi, is this on your cheek? Hemorroids are inside your anus or on the lips of your anus. From what i know about cancer lumps is that they are NOT painful. See a doc for a good checkup.

sometimes i find it difficulty when i try to sit but that kind of pain happens only rarely.
