What is the best way to get internal and external hemorrhoids removed?

Late 30’s and I am so tired of hemorrhoids! They began after having my first child and pushing for 3 hours. Progressively worse now, they bleed and I have tried over the counter and prescription medication. Has anyone had success with banding or surgery?

After years of  harassment of third degree prolapsing hemorrhoids i found long term relief in one ointment called hemorrel. Would strongly suggest before going to surgery. I went to hemorrhoidectomy, everything was ok for about a year and after that they reappeared. Decided to try something new, searched and used a lot of products. After i found this ointment has been nearly 3 years. I have it with me and use it form time to time.

I've had good success with banding.  However, I believe that the banding works best with internal hemorrhoids.  External hemorrhoids are more difficult to deal with, and often surgery is the only way to resolve them.  I suggest consulting with a colon and rectal surgeon about the options.

Thank you for your response. I am seeing one now,but due to other issues he has postponed doing anything else right now. I have ended up in the ER for thrombosis of external ones. I have read forums that say hemorroidectomy surgery is painful, but well worth it for long term relief.
