AgHbe positive and Anti Hbe positive. How is this possible?

26 years old. Chronic carrier.

So, 8 months ago I ended 6 months of interferon. My Hbv DNA went from one billion, to 170 millions. Not enough, so I had to stop the treatment.

I was AgHbe positive and Ac anti HBe negative.

Currently my Ac anti HBe is postive and my Alt and AST are huge,300+.

I will start Tenofovir soon, but I'm really curious what this means.

Thank you.

Since when do you the virus/How old were you when you got it?
I always said that high ALT and AST are not a bad thing. It means that the body(you are young and have great immune system) fights against the virus in the liver, that's why the values are high. Unfortunately your HBV DNA is very high but with a little help from medication to lower HBV DNA, your immune system will manage to overtake the virus.
