cured

I am chr hep b, male 29, i was on teraphy (pegasys and lamivudin) 48 weeks, after 48 weeks i am HbsAg negative HbeAg negative, anti-HbsAg negative and anti-HbeAg negative. what are the prognosis in my terms , can I be cured?

another thing that many might not know, interferon prevents any drug resistance of any nuc, even lamivudine, the weakest hbv drug, has zero resistance on interferon combo

your post also confirms that interferon+nucs combos are the only ones having high percentages of seroconversion but lam and adv are too weak this combo should be done with entecavir and tenofovir.

i hope i will be able to start interferon+entecavir+ntz soon if my hbsag has not declined very much

your antibodies are in balance with hbv antigens what are you taking currently no therapy, lam mono?
nitazoxanide might help but since the moment is very delicate i'd go for continuous lam if you never stopped it.

it is also wrong to stop pegasys since you have no hbsab antibody yet you should have gon for 2 years pegasys as shown by the latest trials
