HBV DNA Undetected for the first time

Hello,

I wanted to share some news with those who been following me in the past. I have many data of all my tests on my older posts if you are interested with analysis.

For those who don't remember me. I have been diagnosed with HBV like most of you at a very young age (possible by birth).

Today and for the first time my HBV DNA came undetected. I have been followed by the best DR in HBV here in the states. She said to repeat after 6 months to see if still undetected and she will also do the HBSAG QUantitative.

My HBSAG Quantitative test been on decline and the last time i did it was October 2019 and it was 3.80 IU so hopefully I have lost the virus on my own. However I will keep you guys posted.

Why did your dr test for anti bodies. If you were tested for years, and considered chronic hepatitis b person, then what made your dr test for antibody.

Interested to know what made your dr  test for AB. Is it routine

Congratulations!
What drug you were taking when your HBV DNA became undectable?
After 3 months of Vemlidy, my HBV DNA is undectable; still undectable after another 3 months. (total 6 months on vemlidy)
So I should get a HBV quantitative test to see my surface antigen number.
Is Hep B antibody reactive test same as Hep B Core AB, total or Hep B Surface AB?
I'm confused about these test. Please help.
No drugs taken. I was not on medication
Thank you!

I finally cleared hbsag and developed antibodies. My antibodies are 455 and professor lok wants another antibody test in 6 month so she can ensure the level still good.

To be honest nothing really except started to do more sports. In my honest opinion your body is the one that decide and how much the baseline of the virus you start with. Hbsag quantitative is great measure. It definetly gave me indication that in few years will be clear and it did indeed happen
Do you drink coffee?

I don’t smoke or drink. So definetly that helped not to worsen my situation. I started regular exercise and that is it.

Do you know what caused it to go down? Have you been eating anything specific?

Not really. It is just how your body react and what is the hbsag baseline
Hi how long did you take the medicine before your body developed antibodies? How long did you take before your virus level became undected?
No medication and never been on any
