Help with hep b lab results

I had a hep b blood panel and im confused by the results.  The Hepatitis B Surf Ab Quant section specifically...my understanding is that this shows immunity levels, but does the fact that I have low immunity indicate ive been exposed?

HBsAg Screen negative
Hepatitis B Surf Ab Quant 4.5
   Immunity > 9.9
Hep B Core Ab, Tot negative

Just confused about the 4.5.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

You should get vaccine ! Your hbsAb are under the limit of protection agains hbv. The good thing is that you don t have hbsag positive. You should do the vaccine asap. If you want to know if you had in past hbv check for HbcAb. Good luck!

His Hep B Core antibody, total/HBcAb is negative; meaning he has never been infected with the hepB virus. He just needs to re-vaccinate to increase his anti-Hbs as you said.
