Hep B test results. please help

I went for test again and hbsag, hbsab is negative but hbcab is positive. Hbeag positive and hbeab negative. Not able to find independent lab to test hbv dna directly. Can someone help me to interpret these results as doctor I am seeing is instructing to take medication.

Also, liver alt ast , enzymes are normal but bun/creatine is 6 and it was 13 2 years back. Is my liver damaging and should go for treatment as suggested. Very hard to find a specialized doctor in this area and confused. Please help so i can get into next steps. I am pretty sure I got this around 3 years back and not before.

what type of hbsag test was performed?name of test/machine used.i think machines and tests used are obsolete and cannot detect all variants.whatever the case the most important tests in this situation are hbvdna and fibroscan, not hbsag.use entecavir or taf to avoid kidneys damage and look for the best labs to test hbv in your area

take vitamin D 5000IU daily. It will help turn some of those to negative.

If anyone went through same situation, can you help what to do. Not seeing DNA test in list to do directly and doctor appointment  takes longer.

Sorry trouble reading this? Is your core antibody the only one reading positive.

If so it’s an unclear result and needs further tests.

Surface antigen and surface antibody negative .core antibody and e antigen positive . Am I chronic and go for hbv dna test
Hmmm this is leading me to think you have a new infection.

The HSBeAG Is normally found in new infections.

Have you any symptoms ? Any idea how you could have got infected ?

I’d go for a DNA test yes.

I don’t know how I got. Never interacted with any directly.
