Hepatitis B and Lesion on the Liver

So it's been a bit since I've posted, and for those that follow, know I am on TAF for Chronic Hepatitis B towards the end of a clinical trial. My liver over the past year has gone from pretty much completely normal to a fatty liver to now having a mass on the right lobe of the liver. The mass was measured at 1.4 x 1.3 x 1.4cm and when discovered on the ultrasound, the doctor called me the same day and wanted me to get a MRI. He comforted me a bit saying that this is fairly small and that I should not be too concerned about it, but naturally I've had some worry. I have a MRI scheduled coming up but just wanted some advice or see if anyone has experience the same. Generally speaking, my diet has been EXTREMELY poor this past year. The second I heard about this (along with a new gallstone and 3rd polyp on my gallbladder), I changed my diet and habits immediately and will continue to do so going forward. This means a lot of healthy good food and lots of cooking at home for myself, because it's clearly necessary. But just wanted to come her for any advice if anyone has it. I had my blood drawn for my normal tests this week, and I'll share more of those when I get results back (likely same time MRI results will come back). Thanks!

Adding more on here as an official result: The liver is normal in configuration without evidence of steatosis or cirrhotic morphology. No mass is seen in the right lobe of the liver in the area of increased echogenicity seen on ultrasound. There is a minute right lobe cyst, 15:14. There is some degree of motion on in and out of phase images. I suppose an area of focal fatty change could be missed but there is no evidence of such.

in the end this was a nice warning from the liver to stay away from junk food

This is very true. And I know whey you are telling me too :) To share with all, I had  VERY poor diet for many months. You name it, I had it, each and every single day... and I saw VERY minimal fruits and veggies to almost none at all. I changed this pretty drastically the day I found out here and at the moment I'm down close to 20lbs since the major diet change and feeling MUCH better.

Update here for those wondering. Had my MRI this morning and doctor's office called me back same day. Naturally that made me concerned but they shared "Everything came back clean and there was nothing wrong." I was pretty certain that was going to be the case but they confirmed it. I'm sure the report will reveal more than I want to know, but overall hearing everything is clean is a great sign and blessing for me!

Thanks. I'm actually not too concerned for this, which I guess is a good thing. My mental mind is telling me it's "nothing" so I'm keeping this thought in order to stay positive on it.

Any update on this?

I have had to postpone my MRI so there is no update until I get it.

Just to clarify what it says "Hyperechoic consistent with hepatic steatosis. There is a new echogenic mass in the right lobe of the liver measuring 1.4 x 1.3 1.4cm"

They recommended the MRI and this was not there 6 months ago.
