You should read the forum here and learn all about HBV.  There is chance of cure even at present treatment(low chance though). In the worst scenario you can control it, prevent damage, reduce cancer and live normally.  Anyway, cures are on the way.

you are not in the 10% you are in the 94% who keeps hbv at birth and have no damage from it.....hbv is a harless virus which makes no damage to us, it is our own immune systems to make damage and this happens in very few

don be so silly to believe the science of panic that drug makers use to sell drugs to healthy people, check the house of numbers on youtube or science of panic documentaries

also check all forum posts and you will understand how hbv is harmless on those who know they have it, in the end the stupid flu makes much more deaths than hbv

Most of the people with Hepatitis B were infected through their mothers - no fault of their own or their mothers. Not all hbvers require treatments, for those who need to, there are very effective medications that can control it. So most hbvers will live a normal lifespan. Sure, there are stigma and discrimination associated with this disease - they do make life harder but you have to fight them. Look up at the people with HIV, they fought hard for their rights and for governments to find cure and look after their health. Worldwide there are over 400 million people with Hepatitis B, and over 120 million with Hepatitis C. We should all do the same. The disease is manageable, we just have to fight the ignorance and prejudice. And it is a battle we can win.
