anti hbc IgM is reactive what is good information, you are recovering from recent hbv infection but you should test it again in a few months to confirm hbsag is non reactive but hbsab is reactive.

Hello SORTE how'd you know when somebody is recovering. I've got tested for the HBV DNA and am still waiting for it. I'll get the result 7 to 10 days from now. Thanks for the reply.
how did*
How can you tell if someone is recovering from HBV?
because you are anty hbc-IgM reactive, its only reactive for a few months after infection, never in chronic carriers. Around 95% of adults don't stay with chronic hbv, but to make sure you need to test after few months, you can not do anything just waiting. Just keep healthy lifestyle.

Then why both are positive? The IGG and IGM

Because in early phase both are always positive, than after few months IgM disappears but IgG stays very long, usually for life. You don't need to repeat those tests any more. Now you need to test only HbsAg and HBsAb in a few months to find out if you are chronic or not.

in chronic only IgG is positive

Your Hepatitis envelop antigen or HbeAg is reactive it means that the virus was replicating and you can transmit others already.....make sure you must go to your doctor for more knowledge and interpretaion...
