But does the acute infection require drugs too
no since immune system will clear it almost all cases there are no drugs for acute hbv.you can help immune system by 5000iu daily of vitamin d3, liposomal vitamin c and healthy food/good rest if you like
Thanks so much...that was helpful. But does the acute infection require drugs too or it just goes away on its own especially since there are no symptoms.thanks
forever hbv has no sympthoms and the virus makes no damage, it is immune system to make the damage and not the virus, so the rare cases where there are sympthoms are due to immune system overreaction
only a blood test can say, even cirrhosis and liver cancer have no sympthoms and when they do it is usually when the person is close to death or irreversible damage has been reached
for hbv there s only vaccine to do and then a blood test for the antibodies hbsab, on adults it is also benigne, cleared 96% times (which is always), no damag left
hbv is a disease of importance only for mothers having a child, this is the only route of chronic transmission because babies have no immune system, all of us here got it at birth and only 1-2 members got it at adulthood when their immune systems were suppressed
