May I ask why you wish to stop treatment?
switching to peg has no risks and it could boost peg response after longterm nucs
Does it make any difference if you stop nucs but continue with peginterferon, or is it the same risk ?
no only immune cells response to hbv is low, the rest of the immune system is perfectly healthy.you just risk too much response of your immune system to infected cells in the liver and massing killing of them faster than your body capability of creating new ones
being hbvdna in blood means nothing, if your hbsag is not very low you just risk severe damage and possible fulminant hepatitis if you dont check carefully after you stop tdf
only if hbsag is very low less than 100iu/ml you have chances to clear hbv, having low hbsag means that all these years of tdf rescued your immune system (tcell hbv response) and then you may clear hbv definitively
What is you HbsAg quantity after 7 years on tdf ?
