hepatitis b lab results

Hello I am 41 and recently got my lab results and I am not on any antivirals...My dna was 137,000 and my afp was 10.1 and my alt was 36.  I am a female. I am e antigen negative and genotype D

What do you think I should do?  The doctor wants me to start treatment but I also have epstein barr virus so I am thinking my body just has a high load because of the epv as well.  Is it very high my numbers?  Should I wait do an ultrasound and then see?

I meant you results have been going up SINCE 2007, that is 12 years. What is stopping you from getting on antivirals?

Hi Cally44,

You definitely should consider treatment, viral load has gone up and ALT has gone up also. There are many people on treatment and doing much better. Your results have been going up in 2007.
