lab results

I have 2 results that i need help with the say:

hep B surface ab               value=6.56             flag=H       reference=0.00-0.99

hep C virus ab
<0.1

I do not know what all this means my stupid doctors will not call back!

I greatly appreaciate this you have gave me some type of relief you cant imagine the amount of tears I have cried because I didn't understand the info. I will wait for my doctor confirmation as well.

Hi Kim

The positive " Hep B surface antibody "    means that you either have been vaccinated for HepB  or you have recovered from a prev. Hep B infection

The HCV antibodies test meant the S/co (signal to cut off) is < .1   meaning you are non-reactive to Hep C which says you are HCV negative.

You do not have either of these virus's
