please help
just recently, my husband had a hep b screening and i found out that he is positive. he is a cancer survivor. he didn't know his hep b results because i know that once he found out about it he will be depressed and stressed about it. he has phobia about him getting sick again and i thought that maybe hiding this from him can help him to live as normal as possible and might be able to cope up with this virus.i also had my blood screened and i was negative. less than 10 people know about his condition.we've been together for 6 years and i think he just acquired this recently, maybe because he had a very low immune system and was exposed to the virus.they say that there is a natural way to cure this, so if there is anybody here who tried it and was cured PLEASE HELP. i'm just worried that this virus might trigger his cancer cells since he was already a cancer survivor. thanks and god bless you all.
you also better check genotype and precore/bcp because:
if these are present hcc risk is very very high and hbvdna must be kept undetactable to lower the risk of liver cancer.
the highest risk is with genotype B and C and precore/bcp 1762T-1764A-1899 -1896, all of use hbeag negative carry one of these mutants which canbe present also as hbeag positive, actually this is the most common form of hbv worldwide today and the wildtype form has become uncommon
be aware that no treatment activate hbeag tatus and that if it activates it is better for you because it means most of your virus is not mutated to the most aggressive and tumogenic form.
you can get hbeag positive only if you dont treat hbv and only if you have no mutants.since hbeag negative is due to the mutants you ll never get it back, the mutants dont ake hbeag which is not needed to the virus

the test to know hbv status are: fibroscan, hbsag quant in iu/ml and hbvdna in iu/ml, all the rest is useless old stuff
in hbeag negative you have lower hbsag, lower hbvdna and much more liver damage.while hbeag positive has higher hbsag and hbvdna which is not correlated to liver damage
interferon does not cause heavy sides effect on hbv, and only 10% experince sides.it cannot be used on trasplant patients absolutely and is not used for liver cancer.

Not all people can be cure by this method. Too risky because it can activate your immune response and this method is just a novel approach. I will not activate my HBEAG negative status to positive without a 100% success its to risky at this moment. I'll stay a healthy negative hbeag carrier for now. Interferon specially the pegalated one, can cause you serious side effects that medical personnel use this only to cancer patients and those who need transplantations.
if you check the community hbv is now curable by sequential treatment with tenofovir and then peginterferon add on, just be sure to check liver damage by fibroscan every 6-12 months if you are not on treatment
actually hbv has been found to trigger liver cancer, leukemia, arterosclerosis, dont know about other cancers
keep in mind that the nagalase test can show presence of cancer much before you can see any cancer by all other tools, but if he also has hbv this test cant be used because both hbv and cancer cells make nagalase.the test is a research level test available only at europeanlaboratory.nl with branch in US and netherlands
hi, sorry i wasn't able to answer right away and its been almost a year. it was hard accepting this problem so actually, i just tried to ignore it. he had cancer in his larynx. it was going to stage 3 cancer and his doctor had an operation thank god that we haven't seen any signs of cancer again. my brother was diagnosed of hbv last 2010 and he was always in our home with us. i was thinking is it possible that he got it from my brother. i have no idea how he got it.?
