Yes...I had very serious arthritis throughout treatment. It was crippling and would wake me up throughout the night. I was miserable. When treatment ended I saw a Rheumatologist right away. He diagnosed me with Psoriatic Arthritis which is an autoimmune disease that he believed was triggered by the interferon. He wanted to start me on Enbrel right away but I opted to wait. I did have some steroid injections though.

Well....slowly but surely the pain started to subside. It took a few months to really notice the difference but Im now 11 months post treatment and all the joint pain is gone. Im glad I didnt start the Enbrel and was patient. Hopefully that will be the case with you too.

I experienced muscle throbbing and pain near the end of treatment and apparently tx put my fibromyalgia symptoms over the edge and I was full blown fibro.  A good rheumatologist is helping me manage my symptoms ...along with therapy and PT...hope this helps...keep us posted
