Am I at risk of a std/hepatitis?

I’m a young gay male (20 yo) less than 24 hours ago I got fisted by a man of unkown status. We did not use glove. He didn’t put his whole fist into my anus but possibly half of it. Am i at risk?

Last time I got tested was 6 months ago.

Are you asking about Hepatitis c? This is the hep c forum for other conditions try the related forum.

As far as hep c while not considered by the CDC to be an STD for long term managamous couples there is an increased risk for MSM, those who engage in rough sexual practices and in the presence of HIV.

Hep c is transmitted by blood to blood contact meaning hep c infected blood needs toenter the blood stream of an uninfected person.

So there could be a theoretical risk wait 12 weeks and have a hep c antibody test and go from there. Is there a LGBT health care group in your area you could contact for more information? Or your best option is to speak with your doctor.

Love yourself and your partner practice safe sex. No glove, no love.

Good luck
