Anyone participating in interferon lambda trial?

An interferon without all the side effects of Pegusus or Pegintron.  Looks very interesting.  I am thinking about participating.

if this stuff performs as described I'd better sell my shares of kimberly -clark.
I think Interferon patients account for 20% of Klennex sales.....
I've used more in the last year than in my whole life....booo hoo....

would gladly trade these boxes in for a better happier shot!!

Yes I'm sure you won't be the only one, as I am interested in trying a better inteferon myself.  I think the name is a little funny as in my area California there is a queer association with that name.lol  Nothing wrong with ppl who have an alternative sexual preference, but it's a little strange that they named it that.  When I first heard of it, the name caught me off guard so much that I did a quick google search to find out if it was spelled correctly.  I guess the name Lambda is a company founded in India or doing progressive work in India and it is spelled correctly.  good luck

I just went to the company's website to read more about this new interferon.  They got a 16 patient interim data so far.  I am quite impressed seeing that relapsers had a 3.6log viral load reduction after 4 weeks of interferon lambda monotherapy and there was no neutropenia and flu like symptoms.  If they move this drug into an open label phase 2 study, I think will participate.

This drug is still in Phase I trials.  Unless you really need to tx because of health issues, I would never try a Phase I trial.  The reason is that not enough is known about the drug at this point and there's a bigger chance of creating more problems than you went in with.  Just my opinion.  good luck
