find out genotype tuesday?

I was diagnosed back in October. I did all my blood work back in November and I go Tuesday to find out my genotype. Do y'all think I will start treatment that day. I'm new to this website but have been on it before. It is really great and really helps. Thanks everybody

Well that's great news then!!! This waiting period is really stressing me out, finding out I have hepc is hard enough but waiting in limbo is even harder! Best of luck to you, hope all goes well with your tx.

Yea my viral load was 116,000 very low thank god.they did a ultradlsound on my liver back in November and they said it looked great. No word on a biopsy

Dang that was fast! I'm still waiting on a viral load. I was diagnosed in Dec found out my genotype Jan. 2,  2b. Still have no viral load. I'm thinking they have to do other stuff before they begin tx. What about your liver have you done a biopsy yet?

I found out today I have 1a and I will be on the triple therapy I'm waiting to get them now

It's hard to say.  Did the doctor tell you that would be the plan?  Normally, the meds have to be ordered -insurance preauthorized- actually have the meds in your hand and then, finally -if this is your first time at treating-receive instruction on giving yourself the injections, get your labwork orders in place, etc.  Are you even going to be on an interferon regimen??
