Bloodborne illness possibility?

I recently donated plasma and the phlebotomist who does the finger prick to test hematocrit and such didn’t change gloves between people. They did the finger poke and handled the capillary tube and gauze without replacing her gloves. What are my risks of getting a bloodborne illness? (Apologies for this question, I’m a bit of a hypochondriac)

I think your comment about you being a hypochondriac should give you your answer.

For hep c there have been no known cases transmitted in the manner you have described. Hep c infected blood must enter the bloodstream of an uninfected person.

That being said, assuming your observations of their processes and practices are accurate that clinic is in violation of best practices in dealing with patients. I would suggest not going to that clinic in the future. Or consider reporting the technician to their supervisor. I’m sure they don’t want to risk losing their license to practice.
