Bocevir CT

I was looking at the clinicaltrials.gov website. "Boceprevir in Combination With Peginterferon Alfa-2a and Ribavirin in Subjects With Chronic Hepatitis C Genotype 1 Who Failed Prior Treatment With Peginterferon/Ribavirin (Study P05685)" - It shows as actively recruiting is some areas but the study completion date is Dec 10, 2009.

Does anyone know if this study is still actively recruiting?

Cathy

So you call the center directly and ask about the trials? As Tip knows, I went to UofM after being a slow responder and stopped just 4 months ago. So since tx was so recent, records are all available.

Merry I am a geno 1.

You could also call some teaching hospitals in Chicago.  Going there would be about the same distance as going to Detroit.

Im in that study, been for 9 weeks, but think they randomize again at 26 weeks and some go for 48 week  though, They did say starting again in first of sept. though, I wouldnt wait , make sure you can get all past records of last treatment, the better the Dotor kept records, the beter chance you have for getting in, you see, it is my understanding they need to compare old records as you go thru treatment, thats what one of the resurch tecs. told me anyway, By the way, anyone that got the placibo the first time, the real thing is suppose to be available to you end this month, the Prove Trial.  Call hepc liver research center cosest to you, I drive 6 hours. Dont wait on Gov. The reserch senters dont advertise, the get plenty referals!! I ask my first doctor to refer me to one, he found one and did!

best choie would be to call immediately. there are only 5 months left, so doubtful...unless there were arms of the study that were only treating certain genotypes for less the 6 months, but since we don't know which studies you are referrencing, no way to answer that. Best bet is to call AND email the contact people at the bottom of each research study they give that info....call and leave a number that they can call you back. It sounds like time is of the essense so be persistant....what genotypw are you?
