that was what the REALIZE study they just finished was all about. I was in it and from what my study doc has said, it looks like the 48 week numbers are better than the 24.

they are both protease inhibitors (sp). copyman is correct, at present, telaprevir shows that treatment naive patients can be treated for only 6 months. bocepreivr is currently in trials to see if it can dothe same. the sides are different: boceprevir cause anemia and tealprevir causes a really bad rash. both of these sides can be treated and at present the telaprevir sides seems to be more easily managed and goes away quickly after the dosing is stopped.
for people that have failed treatment in the past, it seems that they are still on course for a 48 week ride.
They both are good but Telaprevir gets the edge because they are trying to make it a 6 month TX instead of 48 weeks. That is a big difference when exposing your body to these harsh meds
