RESULTS CAME NEGATIVE

hi guys its been over a year since i posted on here i had hep c type1 and took the triple treatment after 2 months or so i had a rash which was pretty harsh and itchy and i was in so much pain i had to be admitted to hospital and i had to stop taking the treatment....i was so upset about stopping the treatment after i came out from hospital i was feeling good then my hair started falling out in big clumps of hair i had lovely long black hair anyways they told me its with the shock your body took and eventually it will grow again......now my hair is growing i took my last blood results and they came out NEGATIVE i was so so happy that i didnt go through hell for nothing and there is hope out there.....think positive the virus can go away xxxx

Lucky you ! You had to stop tx at 8 weeks and still remained undetectable, such great news!!! Congrats to having attained SVR, it's been over a year. :-)
I have seen it happen here once or twice before where someone had to stop very early and still managed to get an SVR, I doubt that happens too often.. Good to hear that you recovered quickly and also have that great end result. Yay!

Hello there, congratulations! I am so happy for you. So glad you came back to share your experience.
Yes, I was told that too, any time there is stress the hair can fall out.  I was upset as well when I lost most of mine but it came back.
